is there a rod bolt upgrade for a EJ22? i could not find a part number. also does anyone know if i need a torque plate for final honing? where can i borrow one?

how did the shaft look? was it scored in any way? surface quality is important. also the front bearing is very good idea to change at the same time. basically theres no way to tell unless its apart

i would check the idle air valve for some debris. also the air filter if its been sitting, might find a rats nest, i did. -

is the weber larger as well? larger venturis would let you have more power.

so you only need a valve job on one head? or are you going to do both so they are even. most people say that the rear main seal isnt worth the effort if its not leaking. theres a few threads on it.
