allrighty guys heres my problem. first off how can you tell an ecu is turned on an funtioning?, i have all the power leads to a constant 12v, is there one or two that need to be an ignition source?. im having a little trouble with my swap and i thiink the problem is the ecu isnt coming to life. now the final question is what pins need power, ground or a switched source to make the ecu work. thanks in advance guys

ive got a blinking green light on the left hand side (looking top down with the plugs at the bottom)

what year car is it?

follow the proceedure for reading codes, if nothing happens, the ECU is toast

Also, make sure that there isn't a pungent burnt circuit smell. If this is present, time to catch the magic horsepower genie in another ecu.
