New to me 03 Baja!

Featured Replies

Who-ho for me! I new it was just a matter of time before I found the right Baja, and it happend last Tuesday night! It is black over silver, and it has the upgraded speakers with tweeters and sub, plus a tonue cover and bed extender! I love to drive it, and I have had fun showing it off to all the freidns and family. I told the salesperson that i also have an 1985 Brat. I said "This is like the modern day version of the Brat, but the back seat riders get to sit inside this time!" Anyways, its all good (is that even cool to say anymore?), as long as I can keep the wife from stealing it! Yep, I told myself that someday I would get one since I saw the Orange STX concept at the 2000 auto show. Kurt

The Baja is a fun car. My 2003 Baja handles better than either of my Outbacks; I think that the suspension is stiffer. I have been told (although I haven't noticed it) that the Baja is quieter than the Outback because the back isn't open to the passengers.

I still love it! Four days and counting! I have heard roumors that Subaru is going to discontinue the Baja after 06! I hope that doesnt happen, I think its a great vehicle, and plus, I think it would looK great based off of the new Outbacks! Kurt
