Hey all i have a 00ob and the front two windows squeek and make all kinds of odd noises when rolling them up and down. They are power windows, they go up and down fine, just make a hell of a racket mainly when just starting to roll them down or just about when they are finished rolling up....any one have any ideas or experience this??

Is there any difference if the door is open or closed i.e. is it a rubbing on the weatherstripping kind of noise or mechanical squeal from the mechanism itself. If it's the former, clean the weatherstripping and maybe try some silicone spray on the rubber. I'll defer to some greater minds on the silicone issue.
