hello, i have a '98 660cc Subaru vivio. i am trying to find some info on my carburettor, what the various diaphrams are for,how emission control works etc prior to starting a rebuild. i have rebuilt a few carbs before but always with the benefit of a manual or exploded diagram of what to expect.

 

one problem with finding info is that i havent properly IDentified the carb yet.all i know is that it is a Mikuni and probably of 33mm diameter.

 

I went through their motorcycle range, but I couldnt find anything similar on the mikuni site.Have you ever seen anything similar (photos below)? or know which other cars (suzuki?) might be fitted with this type of carb. thanks

You're in the right forum for the new gen cars. The only thing is, we didn't get that car here in the US, so I'm not sure how much knowledge people have of it here in the states.

welcome and yes right forum, i have no nowledge about that car, but hopefully someone else on the board does
