best material for ic piping

Featured Replies

i've got an ic laying around in my garage that i need to put on the rx. anyone know of anywhere around the bothell area that would be the best place to go to get some 90 degree bends and such and a reducer?

I got my pipe from an online warehouse. I bought 2 3/8" O.D. stainless steel mandrel bends. I bought two U bends and cut them in half to make four 90 degree elbows. Then I bought 2 3/8" I.D. silicone couplers from Turbohoses.com.

I used a can of blue engine enamel to paint the pipe. The hose comming out of my turbo is just 1.75" I.D. and 2" O.D silicone 90 degree bend. I have a 2 3/8" ID to 2" ID reducer that mates the turbo hose to the stainless steel leading to my I.C.

THe pipe cost me $28 shipped to my door, i recieved it 4 days after i ordered it. The hoses cost me almost $60 for the 3 pieces shipped. Dont expect to find any cheap silicone out there. I plan to replace the rubber reducer I have now for a silicone one, but they are much more expensive.

What IC do you have?
