we will be wswapping a 2wd auto into a 4wd auto xt with a bad front diff. would the pump shaft interchange? i have jim's 2wd pump shaft, but i am missing the inner shaft. i will need to know for this weekend wether to bring it or not.......

 

do governor shafts swap between 2wd and 4wd too?

so no one knows? i guess i'll find out the hard way. then i will know!

My parts book indicates that you are in luck. It shows the same pump shaft for 2wd and 4wd 3spd autos.

cool. at least someone has the answer. but we would have figured it out anyway.

 

now to get the xt on the road!
