June 21, 200520 yr All of my other cars have an Idiot light telling me the Cruise control is on. On my 01 Forester L, all I can find is the actual on/off switch that lights up. Is there anything on the inst. panel that lights up when the cruise is on? Thanks, Glenn 82 SubaruHummer--never had cruise 01 Forester--cruises!!! ...and the follow up question would be... where is the light located on the dash and how do I get to the bulb to replace it? (the easy way)
June 21, 200520 yr 98 to 02..Nope. 03 and up, the switch no longer illuminates, but on the dash, the word cruise illuminates in green.

June 21, 200520 yr Thats because in the last 4 yrs, I have had an 02 and 04 Forester...and 5 Subaru's before them. I speak only from experience....and maybe an old service manual.
