June 22, 200520 yr If any one can point me to the right direction, I'll be a very happy camper. My A/C is not blowing out cold air. The blower works. But the A/C button does not light up when I press it like it did a few months back. I tried recharging it with new oil from Walmart but the compressor wasn't turning on. A mechanic told me I had to jump the low pressure bypass switch. That didn't work so I ended up jumping the compressor itself. That worked so it started pulling in refridgerant. It started getting cooler and the bypass and compressor started working on their own but it still wasn't cold enough. So I bought more oil and ended up overcharging it. High pressure oil shot off from the side of something close to the compressor. It stopped working for a while but after a few hours rest, it seems to be back to square one. Does anybody have any idea of what's going on? I saw posts about bad relays and bad switches. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks everybody. Rex
