I have a track car that I'd like to tow with the Forester. The rig will come in at about 3000 pounds. Too much for the Sube ?

I won't tow the SubaruHummer with the Forester.

 

It's generally not a question of can it tow (the Forester could do it)...it's really more a question of can it stop the load and trailer in an emergency situation. I'd think your tires and brakes would be overworked with that much of a load.

 

The most I tow with mine is around a #1000 pounds.

 

What does the manual say? Anyone....
