Need better suspension

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have a 1982 Leone as a rally car with an EA82T engine. The suspension is really bad!!! I need something better be feel that other Leone suspension would be just as bad.

Currenlty I have normal struts (spelling???) with coil overs and better springs. The shock absorbers are the real problem.

Can a new shock absorbers be fitted to these struts?

Could Legacy or Impressa suspension be fitted to a old school 1982 Leone?

Could I modify the current suspesion to be better?

What would you recommend?

Thanks for your help.

Hayden

I have some aftermarket struts in my 83 turbo wagon, i think they may be 2wd ones. Lower ride height give it much much better handling. don't know what make they are though, i need to lift the car up and have a good look.

us ea82 guys are pretty hard pressed for parts when it comes to performance suspensions. afaik, kyb gr2's are the only aftermarket strut that bolts in, depending on your body style. ive been sniffing around for bolt on suspension stuff too, because im not able to fabricate stuff. :(
