However neither of us has driven a new one yet and we're wondering how much pickup it has compared to an older one. I mean, mine has more than enough, but its lighter too. Legacy777 Posted August 10, 2005 Share Posted August 10, 2005 Actually the new legacy is lighter. Whether it's lighter then the 2nd gen....I'm not sure. If you're happy with the power in your legacy, the 2.5i should be more then adequate. It's not a Legacy GT or WRX, but it does alright for a normally aspirated engine.
