Aux Fan Operation

Featured Replies

The right electric (aux) fan on a 97 Legacy Outback does not run when the AC is switched on.

Isn't it supposed to run when the AC is on?

The fuse is good. What's the likely failure?

motor could be burnt up.. have you tried connecting it straight to the battery? Also.. there is more than one "fan" fuse.. wish i could offer you more advice.. only problems I've ever had with fans was either the fuse or the motor was burnt out.

Thanks. I'll test the fan.

Anyone know a good source for these parts?
