swilde20 Posted August 16, 2005 Share Posted August 16, 2005 i have a 1990 legacy with a 2.2 and automatic. i was driving it the other day going about 60 mph and i heard a clunk and the transmission shifted out of drive and into 3rd and now will only go into 3rd and no reverse. just wondering if anyone has any idea how bad it might be. thanks steve Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Legacy777 Posted August 16, 2005 Share Posted August 16, 2005 Sounds like you lost 4th gear. Don't know how "bad" it is, however I doubt it will come back.
