August 17, 200520 yr There seems to be a flood of EA81 cars that recently went into Lynnwood PAP. Gold EA81 wagon ('82) with 104K on odo! Might have hydraulic lifter engine but the labels are not on the valve covers, but the color indicates hydraulic. 4WD d/r tranny. Gold EA81 wagon ('84?) with 203K on odo. Another 4WD d/r tranny on this one. Blue two door EA81 hatch with round headlights and cool paint trim on door and 129K on odo. Again a 4WD d/r tranny and clean center exhaust pipe. Engine is gone...sorry, Dr. RX and I pulled it this afternoon; but tranny would be a piece of cake to pull now. Red Loyale wagon went into yard today; I didn't pay much attention to it since we were busy pulling the engine. Best to bring cash today; their bank's computers are down and they can't charge anything on a credit card and they don't take checks. Seems that virus going around is still wrecking havoc.
August 18, 200520 yr Author Vancouver is certainly too far away. But you have 7 Pick a Part yards in the Portland area, a regular yard at milepost 71 off I-5, and another pull a part yard just south of Olympia. :[ Lynnwood seems so far!
