'94 GL Wagon-Slow auto changes

Featured Replies

The automatic gear changes are getting a little slow. Being a new owner, I'm looking for pointers on where to look first &/or what to do first. Any help greatly appreciated.

A good clean out and full fluid change would be the first place to start. It can make a huge difference.

Thanks Ross. Have already flushed twice. Maybe I need to tighten some belts.

Try cleanig out the govenor. I think there is a article on the USRM about it.

I would have bet on the fluid change.

Oh ya...welcome to the board!
