I have a 1996 Legacy with dying tranny. Would like to put 91-94 tranny in it...but don't know if that is possible...electrical hook ups? Gear ratios? Any ideas?

it all swaps in fine....just need to match gear ratios....ask around some of the guys have the sweet hookups on finding gear ratios. Electrical connectors should be the same too....though there is always discussion about TCU's...but my 2cents is it will work....or just screw all the AT stuff and get a 5 speed =0)
