Every time when i want to start my legacy at morning (cold start), car start without a problem but after a few seconds die? - but if I step a little on throtle is fine. Legacy777 Posted August 31, 2005 Share Posted August 31, 2005 Does the car sputter at all, or does it just instantly die? It might be the coolant temp sensor. abanic1 Posted September 2, 2005 Author Share Posted September 2, 2005 When I start the engine rpm goes on 1300 rpm and the usualy back to zero and motor dies. If I touch throtlle for second and leave then car works OK. The fuel is OK, sparks are new. Only trouble code 35 I get 1 month ago and I replaced Canister purge solenoid... Olnick Posted September 2, 2005 Share Posted September 2, 2005 As Josh mentioned, a weak coolant temperature sensor can cause some weird idle/stall problems--replacing mine made a great difference.
