bad mileage

Featured Replies

my 1996 outback 2.5 has been getting really bad gas mileage lately and the oil, fuel and air filters are all fresh plus there is a vibration on acceleration between 20mph and 30 mph, please shoot me some info. thanks Jeff

Check alignment and tire pressure. Run some injector cleaner. Change the PCV valve.

Yes, I agree with Matt--alignment, air pressure etc.

What kind of "bad" MPG are you getting?

Yeah, I should have asked this. I would think anything over 22MPG would be ok for your car. Drive slower, don't accelerate quick, etc. There are a few threads that people have given tips to increase fuel ecconomy. I will put the links below.
