ABS Light On

Featured Replies

My 96 OBW has the ABS light on, it just started today in the middle of a long day on the road. When I got home it was making noise in the area of the hydraulic unit under the hood, like a motor running or solenoids clicking continuously. The noise continued when I turned the ignition key off, and then stopped by itself about 10 minutes later.

If I pull one or both of the relays out, will I still have normal braking? (with no abs of course)

Any ideas on how to troubleshoot the system?

Same thing happened on my legacy i just disconnected the connector and the light went out, but it u take them out try some alchol or electronic cleaner then plug i back in worked for me, but u should have normal braking when the relay is out, just might slip.
