Capacity of front and rear diff. in '03 Legacy GT, brake bleed?

Recommended Posts

Ok, part of the 30k service I will be performing on my Mom's '03 Legacy GT sedan with AT is a diff. and traany drain and refill. What is the capacity of Mobil 1 :D for the front AND rear diffs (I know the rear diff of the GT is Limited Slip) does that make a differince :-\ ?

When I drain and refill the 4EAT with the "sport shift option" how much Dextron III will I need to refill the tranny?

BRAKE bleed, will this '03 GT have the same X pattern to flush and bleed the ABS system as my '98 Legacy L wagon? I have the procedure for bleeding the ABS detailed in an old Endwrench mag.

You'll need about a quart per diff. Specific amounts is in the owner's manual.

You'll need about 5-6 qts of ATF fluid. The total capacity is around 8, but you never get all of it out when you just drain it.

Brake bleeding procedure is the same.
