hey guys,jus wonderin if anyone knows how easy it is to put a '87 L series gearbox into my 83 brat............if it is possible....the brats started makin grindin noises in 1st an 2nd gear after cold startup,is ok after about 5 miles tho.........

there is a writeup somewhere, you will need a custom propeller/driveshaft.

 

although shipping may nix the idea, there is a guy, a Jerry i believe that makes kits to put the 5spd into the EA-81 chassis.
