Hello- Someone decided I should experience the thrill of finding out just what a pain it is NOT to be able to put my key in the dook locks. (ALL THREE OF THEM!!) Has anyone experienced this problem before? It seems they tried to jimmy the locks, but ended up breaking the tumblers on all the locks. Not only that, I cannot put the key IN the locks at all. (Thank God for the keyless entry!)

IS THERE A "DO-IT-YOURSELFER" OUT THERE WHO CAN TELL ME HOW TO FIX THIS WITHOUT SPENDING AN ARM AND A LEG????? I would be very grateful!!!! Thank you!!!!

Second off, this is the off road forum, we know mud, not keys, i'm sure a moderator will move this to new gen, so if you can't find it later that's where it will be.

 

as far as your problem, you should be able to get the right cylinder from the dealership, which if you replace it yourself will be the biggest cost. You'll have to take off the inner pannel of the door and go in from there, pretty easy job, just be careful not to ruin all the plastic clips that hold the door skin to the door frame.
