is there a kit for dual shock on a subaru 1988 subaru gl wagon. also where can i find a safari cargo roof rack for my car that will fit? where can i sen my car to have an ej motorswap done? and how much would it cost.

1) There is no kit for it. A custom job was done in Austrailia.

 

2) TWB Fab makes a nice roof rack; his name is Soobme on here. Thule makes racks that fit on old Subarus.

 

3) Whatever local custom automotive shop is willing to take on the project. Cost would be at their mercy. Good luck.

Do the EJ swap yourself...I've had trouble finding shops that do that sort of thing. The subaru specialist place here didn't even like the idea of an SPFI swap on my EA82, so I did it myself and laughed at them:grin: . Then I asked about doing an EJ swap and got the same response, so I did it myself and laughed at them again.

 

Depending on how you do it, you can expect to pay about a grand for all the stuff you need for an EJ swap.
