Hi all,

 

I'm on the middle of an EJ20T conversion for my RX turbo and I need a pinout for the old EA82T computer. It is the 3 plug type. There was one on the Ausubaru site before the webhost went bust but it's not there now!! GRRRR!!!

 

Any help will be greatly appreciated!!!!!

I believe the EA82 part 2 pdf from here *should* have the pinouts you seek, it will be toward the end of the pdf.

My old EA82T got dunked a bit too deep and no longer runs....

 

 

Those diagrams are the newer 4 pin type for the MPFI engine. The one I need is the older one. Thanks anyway:)

so how esy dos the ej20 fit in the engin bay cos som1 told me they match up 2 the ea82 gearbox im thinkin it might b a good idea bit mor power dats al

ej20 doesnt match up to the ea82t transmission. You need to make or buy an adapter plate.

Yeah, EJ20 needs an adapter plate to mate with an EA gearbox. It's not too hard to make. There used to be a section in the Ausubaru tech manual on how to do it, I assume it will be back soon.

 

EJ20 fits in an L series no dramas. The only thing I had to do was grind the locating stubs off the engine mounts.
