October 27, 200520 yr Being in Australia - its hard to find out how these things go together - correct me if I am wrong here. The parts are -: - Diff Lock switch - a small coloured console behind the Diff Lock switch - the coloured gearshift boot console Is it possible, assuming I have the switch and the small console behind it, to cut a hole for it in an exisiting standard "dual range" gearshift console? Confused? Do I really need to go to the trouble of buying a new RX gearshift boot console? Any help appreciated!
October 28, 200520 yr Yes, just find a place to put the diff lock switch and it should work fine. The plastic itself is identical to the standard Dual Range piece, except for the hole for the switch.
October 28, 200520 yr Author I thought the switch backing console and the gearshift console were all one unit - thats where I was getting confused. So I shall be a hacking my dual range console when I get those parts! Thanks for your help Trogdor
