In the last couple of days, the Air Bag warning light remians on for couple of seconds after starting the car (99 Legacy).

 

Whats potentially wrong and will it cost much to fix?

if it doesnt remain on? dont worry about it

 

if it remains on, you need to get it in to be fixed

 

likely an electrical sensor/controller gone bad

 

but again, if the light is on just temporarily?

i would just disregard.
