I am from India, and am intersted in acquiring the latest Forrester(turbo, automatic).

Now the problem is that GM has a presence in India and had been marketing the base level 125bhp, 18nm torque - Forrester, very unimaginatively and half-heartedly in India since April,2003. Now GM has terminated it's partnership with Fuji Heavy Industries and Subaru. I hope FHI/Subaru can introduce all their AWD vehicles into India by themselves or in collaboration with Toyota, and SOON.

i have been waiting for the latest powerful Forrester very long and am waiting.....

My understanding is that the Chevy Forester didn't sell that well in India over the past few years, so convincing the bean counters to release a more expensive version is probably a long shot. But perhaps this new partnership with toyota will change that for the better.
