I dont have a FSM or Haynes or anything for this EA82T of mine. Can anyone help point me to the knock sensor? MAybe some tips on how to test it. Seems my ECU is pointing to that as being the problem with my hesitation.

Knock sesor is on the top of the engine block, near the back on the 1-3 side.

 

Its probably just come unplugged, but if not, you can check it by hooking up a timing light and tapping the block near the sensor with a screwdriver or something. The timing should retard.

I'll have to try that.
