i just recieved my 1970 subaru 360

 

the car is fun to drive, and the looks i get are cool. im located in southern california. im looking for a place to buy some parts.

 

does anyone know if the top is removable in this car?

I didn't think any of those tops were removable.

she is a bit of a project right now, however she runs like a top. one problem is the charging system, i will get everything up to snuff.

 

 

i live in southern california so daily driving this would be like daily driving a moped with a target.

 

everyone can not stop looking at it!!!!!!

yes the tops come out, but not easilly, took me about a full hour.join the subaru 360 drivers club.there are many cross reference parts that fit 360s and the club also has a parts stock, i am sure they will help you find what you need.i have a 360 van, and sold my sedan about a month ago.

thanks for the heads up. i thought the top looked like it was removeable. the center of my top has a crack half way through it, so i was a little concerened about trying to remove it

if it is cracked, your probly better off leaving it in, it may be tough to ever put it back in.they are only about as thick as cardboard literally.

A little Tiger Hair on that top and you'll be golden. Just don't ever try to take it out.
