hopefully a soon-to-be owner of an 06 outback wagon with some questions on options

 

1) i have a dog that i want to put in a doggie seat belt in the cargo area, but i can't find out if the cargo area has rings or tie down bars, etc. that will allow this.

 

2)also, has anyone seen in 'real life' the 06 ob in green? any opinions? can't tell from brochure if it's interesting or hideous!

I have an 06 3.0R outback wagaon and it has two potential tie down spots. First there are two flip down latches at the bottom left and right just inside the tailgate where the cargo net attaches. Secondly, if the rear seat is folded down the very strong latches for the seat catch on the left and right are available for securing stuff. Unlikely a dog could ever do any harm to them. The cargo net latches may not be much of a match for a 100lb lab.

We had an 04 Seamist Green Wagon. We now have a red wagon. I go for color that looks ok after you haven't washed it, not color that looks good just after you did wash it. But then I don't get to vote on car colors.
