November 20, 200520 yr VERY interesting idea. no way in hell would it work. if the structural integrity of the walls of pipe actually held up and didn't crack or explode, the joints would separate no matter what you'd do to it. maybe austin should of used something stronger then,like steel (but then weight comes into effect)
November 21, 200520 yr Author well, its was 8º outside the other day, and the pipe and lights are still attached! and.. i hit a few branches with the rack, (while offroading at flatfender farms) and its still here! so the pipe idea was.. ok... its not the best, but it seems to hold up so far... I am going to get some mesh/chickenwire stuff to put over the whole thing soon
