i have a 95 legacy is their any other subaru with a skid protector for the rear that i could make it work on my car

You might go to your local dealership and ask them.

 

I've been offroading my 88 for years and never seen anyone break their rear diff, axles sure, but not the diff

EA82's had them as a dealer option. I just picked one up from a wrecker here in Aus for $10... And that was the rear diff protector and front bash plate!

Did they sell those factory ones in the US too? I've never seen one.
