Passenger side camshaft sprocket bolts reverse thread?

Featured Replies

Having trouble pulling the rightside camshaft sprockets on a 2.5 DOHC. Could they be reverse thread maybe? Just don't want to crack the plastic gears. Thanks in advance!!

They thread in the same way as the left side. I recomend using the flats on the camshaft (under the cam cover) that are there for the purpose of giving you something to hold while you torque down the cam sprocket bolts. Use a 25mm (1") open end wrench to hold it.
