air filter , 88 turbo a/t full 4wd wagon question

Featured Replies

i have a 88 turbo a/t full time 4wd wagon, 109,000mi running good, 22-23 mpg city 25 hi, 2 -1/2 pipe from cat back [ no cat] air box cut out k-n filter, my question is it worth the extra cost to run a cone filter and do away with the air box , looks like cost will be around 25 bucks total , any hp gain etc.....

is it gonna be a universal cone filter?

i did the universal cone deal,i used the stock intake tube and only thing i noticed was a change in throttle response.(an sound)

$50 bucks+throttle response and sound=i was happy with it.
