Does anyone know of an aftermarket company that makes a real metal brush guard for this thing. Afterall we live in the middle of deer country. Sweet82 Posted November 22, 2005 Share Posted November 22, 2005 The Brush Guard is cosmetic only! It is a cheap/expensive piece of plastic. I have one and it's only purpose is to look good short of that it's pointless. I think the reason is, if they make a real Brush Guard, it will interfere with the airbags and safety system. The car will fold up differently than they designed in a crash.
