2002Forrester - leaking sunroof!

Featured Replies

hello-

i hope this is not aon old thread, but i've just joined this forum and wnat to inquire if there is a standard repair for a sunrrof that just started leaking? i have the special edition forrester with the over sized sunroof and the water seems to be pooling and then leaking -- it looks like there are drain vents and they don't seem to be plugged, but i'm wondering if replacing the gasket or seals is something that needs to be done anyway...any info shared is greatly appreciated!!

email me directly, please...

Those holes are supposed to drain water from behind the front wheels. Pour some water down there and see if water comes out under the car. If not, the drains are clogged and they need to be cleaned.

If so, try some compressed air....
