Friend of mine is swapping his '05 WRX suspension out with STi parts. Anybody know if his leftovers will fit my '99 LOBW?

is your outback from the impreza line, not the legacy? if so, then yes, the wrx is an impreza with a better motor, and some better suspension goodies, but they all interchange between imprezas.
