Featured Replies

hello everyone, i'm new here. i have a 1993 subaru impreza 4dr.

right now the car has all these ailments, won't start, no headlights, windows won't roll down.

things ive done and checked.

1. battery teste good with a load tester, voltage is at 13+-1

2. starter is getting voltage to the two big nuts.

3. checked all fuses to include inside and outside boxes (2 total boxes) all good visual and multimeter

4. checked continuity on three relays located inside above fuse box all good iaw the diagram

5. rebuilt starter, might have carbon build up but everything is clean

6. all fluid levels are good.

7. also none of the warning lights in the dash works with the ignition on, but the brake light did come on once, but not anymore

please help, this car is an overall great car, it's been very realible on long trips, and i have no intension of getting rid of it. no mods, just plain stock. as soon as i paid for the 944t i'll be modding this one

Just a guess, but seems you have an ignition switch problem.

Other opinions will certainly follow. Good luck!
