William Karstens Posted October 5, 2003 Share Posted October 5, 2003 Hello, I am shoping for a Legacy wagon right now to serve as a third vehicle for my family. We currently have two vehicles, and this would become a commute car for my self, and a weekend long trip car for the family. First and foremost, it appears to me that Subaru's have a loyal following due to the fact there are not that many used ones on the markette, as well as the high resale value on a comparison basis. That aside, I am curious if anyone here can tell me things to look for on 97 and newer legacy wagons, more in detail: Services at certain milage levels that are costly and would be good to have been done. Problem areas are certiain mileages (CV Boots, u joints, timing belts, gaskettes, etc). Problematic years or problamatic parts (exhaust or what ever) And any other "primers" that people here who have had a Subaru Legacy for some time.
