October 6, 200322 yr Hey guys, I know that somewhere someone posted instructions on how to sand down your headlight lenses in order to get rid of the headlight yellowing problem. Does anyone know how this is done, for example what grit to use, is the yellowing occuring on the inside or the outside of the lens, etc. This would be most appreciated! Thanks guys Oppie

October 6, 200322 yr On many of the cars I help with, we use Meguire's polish. They make one just for restoring yellowed lenses. Takes some elbow grease. Also replacement is probably the best option. Been doing quite a few mopars & ford lenses lately. They are much cheaper than Subaru's. Here's a website offering 95-01 legacy/outback lenses for just over $100. http://www.auto-headlights-taillights.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=products.list&make_id=35&model_id=170
October 6, 200322 yr Here's the thread in question....at least that I did http://www.bbs.legacycentral.org/viewtopic.php?p=5821#5821
