December 21, 200520 yr Author I know my auto matic turbo axles are the same as a 5spd dual range...with 3.9 gearing.. the 5spd is single range. with 3.9 gearing the auto has 3.7 gearing. Would the axles still be the same?
December 21, 200520 yr FOUR SPEED auto and all manual turbo transmissions take the same axles. So, if your shifter markings say "P R N D 3 2," the turbo manual trans axle will work. If it says "P R N D 2 1," it'll take the same axle as ANY nonturbo car, but not the one from a turbo 5-speed.
