Is the speed sensor related to the tachometer? My dealer ordered a new sensor for me but didnt put the old one back in. The tach now stops me at 4200.

no, the speed sensor is not related to the tachometer. What was the problem that you brought the car in for?

 

It's possible the ECU needs to be reset. If that doesn't work, take it back to them and tell them to fix it, because it wasn't like that when you brought it in.

Yeah Im waitin on the sensor to come in. Just thought it was funny for CEL to come on when I left the dealer and my tach to limit me. Not that I need to drive the car anyway right now, just kinda sucks.
