Holy Cracked Hoses

Featured Replies

*Yet another hose gone bad...

this is the third hose I've gone thru for the turbo Is there some sort of hose I can use for the turbo inlet and outlet that is heat resistant?

Or what can I do to keep my hoses in good condition?

Man Was it empty it took me 30 minutes just to fill it up... crap...

Fill...

Run

Fill Run

The first one I replaced literally crumbled intp a dozen pieces in my hand.

I have heard recommendations for OEM hose, too. Me, I have had inexplicable luck running a long loop of hydraulic-rated hose; it loops around my plenum and back to the t-stat housing. The loop looks funky, probably restricts flow too much, buut does make it easier to remove and replace the otherwise short hose.

Well I replaced it... And according to the gauges.. it takes a lot longer to heat up now... (no so good...) I love heat... and it stays within 4-5 bar range... Damn digi dash I used to think it was cool but I want an analog dash

Plus the Car seems to run better now.. more power... maybe because I pulled the turbo off the car.. I don't know but I noticed more power...
