95 Legacy - strut advice..?

Featured Replies

Hi USMBers, happy holidays:drunk: - I have a 95 legacy L 2.2 manual - 147k - been bouncing around some rutted roads lately, and think I may need some strut work - it was "tracking" to the right when I let go of the wheel (not really "Pulling") - tires are pretty new, air pressure is right on the money. Dumped it at the Midas near work last Friday, didn't tell them any symptoms, just asked for a 4-wheel alignment. Headed out and on the highway, it is still tracking right. I am thinking now perhaps the struts could need replacing..? They are original equipment. I am into Midas for $60-ish already(for the alignment), I may drop it there tomorrow and have him see what is up. Is it worth shopping around, or should prices be pretty uniform for this? Any advice/price estimates re:strut work for a 95 Legacy appreciated! :)

KYB GR-2 struts/shocks are nice.

well if your gonna have new struts put in,do the outback strut swap.

my 94 legacy does the same(tracking to the right)but i think my problem is the fact that i have a busted spring on the front driversside so it's causeing it to want to go right.
