OK, this afternoon when I tried to turn Suby over, I got nothing when the key is "ON". The stereo and clock are on in "ACC", but go off in "ON". The batt is at 12v, and no change when key is "OFF","ACC", "ON" or "START". I do get a buzzing sound when its "ON" under the dash someplace(I THINK its coming from the ECU). And the tach is at 1000 when key is on. Changed out alt with spare, no diffence. I'm guessing I have a short someplace, but where? I had the batt and alt checked at Auto Zone a while back, and there good. Anybody got any ideas? Cause I'm stumped. BTW, its a '87 GL SPFI.

check the battery again and make sure the terminal connections are good and tight.
