Thanks all, I had a post earlier this week about my engine not running. It was an ignition problem, I followed the directions to the best of my ability on the FSM and it wouldnt work. So I took it into my own hands (with tips from usmb) and after a bit of tinkering with the disty (and uncrossing 2 and 4) she fired up and runs great! One more thing, my oil pressure and temp gauge have never worked, with original or new engine. Im sure everyone would agree these are very vital gauges, any tips would be appreciated.

Hemm. Sounds like something up with your dash if you have replaced the motor and still the same. You can replace the gauge display (thing with speedo and tacho) pretty easily. Or it might just be a plug on the back of the display. Also have to made sure the wires are plug onto the engine? The oil pressure goes from the oil pump upto the disty, and the over towards the battery (on EA81's anyhow, dunno about the ea82.) And the water..... umm, I dunno. gonna have to go have a look. Good to hear its up and running.
