Diff Breathers?

I read someone about them in the 'ultimate repair manual' but so the newer diffs have them.. since my rear diff often finds itself submerged.. i figured it'd be a good idea to run a tube off of that to minimize diff....messing up

aye?

i'll guess if it ever stops raining/snowing/50mph winding i'll get under there and take a look for myself

When was the last time you changed the diff oil? If it came out mocha colored and soupy, you need to improve the diff breather. might be something to check.

You can always use a tarp and cinderblocks to help make working under the car more comfortable. It's noisy, but at least it isn't whipping rain at you.
