Good News on Reiter Pit land use issues.

Here is some good news on Reiter Pit from a friend who went to bat for 4wheelers and attended the meeting.:)

"Yeah, it was pretty cool. Not one voice of dissention in the crowd or on the council. I think the unanimous voice at the hearing really helped. Plus, we got them to change the set back from 2000ft. to 250ft! That is for all of Sno. County, not just Reiter. So boys (and girl), Reiter Trails is basically legal to wheel in now and it will be just a matter of time before it's an official ORV park. Understand there will be some drawbacks to this. Once the DNR gets in there and we help them mark trails, no more cutting your own path and we'll need to stay of the single track stuff. It's all stuff we mostly do, or should do anyway, but it will be more official in the future. But the important thing is the risk of losing Reiter to some loop hole is gone. They'll need to get more creative, or we'll need to get more stupid to lose it now."
