Featured Replies

hey guys, i just got an 84 subaru brat and the 4wd lever isnt working. i looked under the car where the lever bar goes to and its not connected to anything. i was wondering if anyone could help me figure out where it connects to. thanks:confused:

Brat's have a "transaxle", so the 4WD lever connects to the transmission..... Do you have a driveline going from the trans to the rear end? If not the lever isn't connected because someone installed a 2WD trans.

If I found that out I would be super pissed. I don't believe you would have to much trouble finding one a dual-range tranny at a junk yard somewhere.
